The Federal Prosecutors Backing Jeff Sessions on Mandatory Minimums [TheAtlantic.com]

Attorney General Jeff Sessions’s recent directive to federal prosecutors to seek the harshest charges and sentences against defendants drew swift opposition from criminal-justice reform advocates both in and outside of government. The policy contrasts sharply with recent efforts to reduce America’s prison population—a goal that’s made odd bedfellows from across the political spectrum—and effectively rolls back Obama-era sentencing reforms. Not surprisingly, former Attorney General Eric Holder chimed in with a rebuke, saying in a statement that the directive was driven by “voices who have not only been discredited, but until now have been relegated to the fringes of this debate.”

Hey Samantha

Again  the WAYS OF THE EGO do not work. Punishment is a ego idea and as well ALL SEE is not working. The ego  creates division and separation. Sounds like SESSIONS and TRUMP that love to create division and separation. Those who lead by fear...lead by communicating separation and dividing people. The ego does not have the capacity to be a unifying force of real love. The men and women who are leading by fear and division  have a terrorist in their own head. They are our DOMESTIC SELF RIGHTEOUS TERRORIST that they say WE are right and YOU are wrong....Sound familiar. I am not saying there is no right or no wrong. But what I am saying most of us don't be around people who lead by fear...We as ADULT SURVIVORS have been the victims of people who were abusive and violent. I WANT TO BE AROUND PEOPLE WHO LEAD BY REAL LOVE.....They are often very Nurturing and very secure people who have no need to want to have power OVER YOU. The are not the Ego Maniacs with a Inferiority complex personality type....the people who are leading with FEAR not love.
