11th Annual Maryland Children's Alliance Mid-Atlantic Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect

This event is at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Annapolis, MD (210 Holiday Court, Annapolis, MD 21401).  It begins on Monday, October 27th at 8:30am and ends on Wednesday at 12:30pm.

Dr. Anda is the keynote speaker and will give his opening remarks on Monday at a Plenary Session "Adverse Childhood Experiences: Balancing Risk and Opportunity."  He is scheduled from 9:15 until 10:45am on Monday, and then will lead a workshop to continue the discussion "Session A6 Now We Know, Where Do We Go?  Using Research to Make Changes in the Field."

The event is hosted by the Maryland Children's Alliance and registration is through Eventbrite.  Single Day Registration is $200, Regular Registration is $450, Student Single Day Registration is $125.

Brenda do you have to pay to come to this event? How far is it from Washington DC and what day is Dr. Anda going to be there? I am going to AAP advocacy conference so probably couldn't make Monday but would be interested in the other two days!!! Thanks Tina

Dr. Robert Anda is the Keynote Speaker for this event!  I can hardly believe that ACES has FINALLY made it to Maryland!  Any Maryland State ACES Group members coming to this event?  Let me know.  I'm going to go at least on Monday, October 27th for the day...otherwise I have school commitments.  Would LOVE to finally meet other Maryland ACEs Connection members.
