Empathy in the Workplace
with Joe Brummer
In the last several years there have been dozens of books written about the importance of empathy in relationships, culture, and the workplace. Employers are recognizing that empathy brings the human factor back into the workplace. From designing better products to understanding co-worker complaints, learning to stand in the shoes of others makes all the difference in creating a workplace culture in which people want to be included. Moreover, employers see better productivity and less turnover in employment when they turn on the empathy factor in the work setting. This workshop will give participants skills, techniques, and communication tactics that foster empathy in the workplace.
