Well thanks. I just ordered a home system, Brain Paint. I will let everyone know how it goes when I start this. But I am excited. I think this may be a treatment for those of us where other things just don't work.

Hi Tina!

This video was from the evening talk, where Dr. van der Kolk added to his earlier presentations during Echo's Changing the Paradigm conference. In the course of the day, he talked a lot about neurofeedback. He is quite obviously a fan! However, I think you'll find all that he said in THE BODY KEEPS THE SCORE

I love Dr. Van der Kolk he gets it.  I diagnose developmental trauma. Of course it isn't on the billing sheet but I put it in the notes. I never diagnose Oppositional Defiant, Pediatric Bipolar, or Conduct Disorder. I will code behavioral concerns (which there is a code for).  He knows more than any other clinical psychiatrist as far as I am concerned.

The Vipassana meditation was awesome it is on the DVD from the Boston Trauma Conference 2 or 3 years ago.  I thought it was great.  I wanted to go to a Vipassana retreat after watching that.

You can watch "The Dharma Brothers". It is a great video.  http://www.dhammabrothers.com/Prison.htm

I just want to know what did he have to say about neurofeedback????
