2017 Learning and Leadership Summit - Prevent Child Abuse (North Carolina)

Each and every person is essential to ensuring that North Carolina is a place where protective factors are robust and families thrive. Join us at the 2017 Learning & Leadership Summit where we will enhance the practice and leadership skills of participants by providing educational workshops designed to help professionals develop essential skills. These skills are necessary to support and strengthen families in their communities, activate support for effective prevention practice, and engage all members of society in promoting what works in effective child maltreatment prevention and treatment.

The Summit will serve as a springboard for local communities to begin developing a child abuse prevention plan through the lens of a strengths-based protective factors approach. With nationally recognized speakers and a diverse array of workshops, Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina's Learning & Leadership Summit offers insight into the latest research, strategies for increasing protective factors, effective implementation, public awareness, and advocacy.

RESILIENCE:  The Biology of Stress and the Science of Hope will be viewed at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, March 8th with a panel discussion following the screening.

If you are still interested in attending the Summit, you may register onsite on March 8 at the rate of $299.00.
