Learn to Build a Trauma-Informed System: 2-Day Intensive

The Hancock Inn - Hancock, NH

Learn to Build a Trauma-Informed System: 2-Day Intensive
"There is no blueprint for rolling out trauma-informed practices; however, Emily's use of a systems approach to educate those of us working to create our own blueprints is exactly what's needed. The way in which Emily conducts her workshops promotes collaboration of ideas no matter your educational background or current title. You leave feeling inspired and empowered to move this revolution forward!"
- Dawn Daum, HERE this NOW workshop participant, co-manager of ACES Connection Building Resilience and Beyond, and Care Manager at Transitional Services Association

HERE this NOW is excited to once again offer the acclaimed, "Learn to Build a Trauma-Informed System" workshop.

The revolutionary promise of the trauma-informed movement requires more than applying trauma-informed thinking to health care practices, classroom teaching, service delivery, or the like.  It beckons change - SYSTEMS change.

Systems change is complex and multi-faceted.  It requires strategic thinking and "big picture" perspective.  "Learn to Build a Trauma-Informed System" will provide you with that in this 2-day intensive:

  • Systems Theory (Complex vs. Linear)
  • Systems Phenomena
  • Social Networks & Network Thinking (Nicholas Christakis)
  • Adaptive Leadership (Ron Heifetz)
  • Group Dynamics (Yalom, Corey & Corey, Blanchard)
  • Self-Healing Communities Framework (Cowlitz County, WA)

Participants will complete this workshop feeling connected, inspired, and empowered to champion trauma-informed change in their respective settings.  Lots of laughs promised along the way :-).

I hope you can join me!  www.herethisnow.org/workshops
