LifeForce Yoga Nidra for Balance and Deep Relaxation

LifeForce Yoga Nidra for Balance and Deep Relaxation

w/ Jennifer Cox

LifeForce Yoga Nidra is a deep and meditative practice, welcoming sensation, breath, feeling, and emotion as an experience of awakening into this present moment, allowing us to clear away limiting and constrictive emotions and beliefs for a more balanced state of mind.

"No separation between the ocean of healing energy that surrounds you,and the rivers of healing energy flowing through you now. You ARE that energy."

Your True Nature Is Neither Depressed Nor Anxious

Do you or someone you know suffer from anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder? Evidence-based LifeForce Yoga Tools can help.

LifeForce Yoga is intentionally designed to work with and manage mood. The practices support students and clients in self-regulation, and many of the yoga techniques can be done in a chair, in bed, and do not require a yoga mat. Most practices are evidence-based and have been adapted for clinical settings. Developed by Amy Weintraub, the practices are rooted in traditional active meditation and self-inquiry that embraces the polarities in our lives. LifeForce Yoga interweaves the power of an ancient discipline with current scientific findings to help you release what’s no longer serving youβ€”without a story attached!

LifeForce Yoga is a practice of compassion that creates a big enough container to embrace and accept all the dualities of mood. The practice is adapted to the student, so each individual can move into a more balanced (sattvic) and positive emotional, mental, and physical state of equanimity and self-awareness. This means we move slowly, teaching strategies that clear the temporary obstructions and that empower the student to access his or her own true nature.

In this MEDITATIVE practice, we will clear away our limiting beliefs and emotions with guided meditation, inviting deep relaxation throughout the mind and body.

No fancy equipment or attire is necessary. Wear comfortable clothes for deep relaxation. Mats are available to borrow if you don't have one.
