Strengthening Sovereign Responses to Sex Trafficking in Indian Country (Palm Springs, CA)

On behalf of the U.S. Department of JusticeOffice on Violence Against Women, the Minnesota Indian Women’s Sexual Assault Coalition Tribal Sex Trafficking TA, and Mending the Sacred Hoop Comprehensive & Domestic Violence Tribal TA, we would like to extend an invitation to attend the Strengthening Sovereign Responses to Sex Trafficking in Indian Country conference at the Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel located in Palm Springs, California January 30-31, 2018.

Who Should Attend:
Service providers working with American Indian/Alaska Native Sex Trafficking Survivors. Tribal Government Program Grantees, Tribal Leaders, Indian Gaming and Hotel Staff, advocates, health professionals, law enforcement, prosecutors.

Sessions include:
Workshops will assist programs and agencies with information, implementations, and highlighting key issues to improve response to American Indian/Alaska Native Survivors of sex trafficking. Breakouts by disciplines on Day 1 and topics on Day 2.

▪OVW Tribal Governments Program, you do not need to submit a GAN for up to THREE people to be able to attend.

▪OVW Tribal Sexual Assault Program, you do not need to submit a GAN for up to THREE people to be able to attend.
