Rick:

I'm so glad you asked. It's a new thing for the group and so lots of us are getting the hang of it. And we will.

And many are looking for more ways to connect and in real time and that's part of the reason we're doing this. To break the isolation by talking about some of this stuff and with one another.

As for the particulars, just come right here on the day/time of the chat and go to the featured chat (which will always be at the top of the page). There's one listed right now for May. On the time/date of the chat, that will start being a place where conversation takes place.

It is kind of like group messaging. It's live and we talk about a specific topic after our featured guest shares some information/stories.

You can ask questions or share stuff. The comments appear almost immediately with a slight lag time. Comments are moderated so the guest doesn't get more than one question at a time. But you will see your question pop up, during the chat, almost immediately. It gives us all a chance for back and forth and all to share, contribute and connect.

Does that help? Just come right to the Parenting with ACEs group the day and time of the event. See the post (above this one)? It's listed as the Featured Chat. That becomes "live" on the day/time event meaning we're all commenting and online in that spot.

Please DO ASK all questions. You will be doing a favor to others with the same questions. And helping me as well learn what's clear and confusing.

I'm new at this as well! I appreciate the feedback.

Cissy

Hello Christine

Thanks so much for this new aspect of our group. Forgive me if I ask questions on HOW to connect to do this...I really long for a deeper connection..i feel so isolated and separated from people....Its a real lonely place to be. I will be asking a lot of question please be patient with me so I can do this and be a part f this new feature on our group.  Thanks in advance... and to our mutual healing.

Rick
