People are loving this dad who wears his baby to work. Here's why it matters. (upworthy.com)

For Tom Williams, a Chiropractor from Chicago, every day is bring your son to work day.

At his family-based practice, which he runs along with his wife, Lauren, Tom is used to having kids in the office.

After some recovery at home, the couple wanted to get the business back up and running again, but as parents and entrepreneurs, it was a challenge. Tom loved helping take care of his wife and new son (Oliver), but wanted to get back to taking care of his patients too.

A few days per week, Oliver comes to the office where he splits time at Mom's desk and strapped to Dad's chest.

So hopeful that the individuals and agencies, and ideally, systems embrace the imperative opportunities of parental/family bonding and attachment, I totally concur with you Cissy. We know (science, research, intuition) that our connections with other is our healing. We are neurologically wired to connect with each other. Healing our brains as we're healing our hearts...

Dana: I always love what you share here. Imagine if this was truly an option for new parents who can do attachment style parenting and still be at work, at least some of the time? Amazing. It seems when men do it there's more support than women do it. I hope this encourages it to be more supported as good for the family all around!

Cissy
