California: Drop-In Center Services for Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (chronicleofsocialchange.org)

 

“The County of Orange (County) Social Services Agency (SSA), Children and Family Services Division will be seeking program statements from for-profit organizations, private nonprofit organizations, public educational institutions, or municipalities with experience in providing a Drop-In Center facility that would include offering services and support to victims of sexual exploitation, potential victims and their family members. The Drop-In Center will provide services and programs for Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) or youth at risk of becoming victims. A commercially sexually exploited or sexually trafficked child is one who receives food or shelter in exchange for, or is paid to, perform sexual acts."

The RFI will be released through the County’s electronic procurement system, BidSync on or around March 7, 2017, using the following National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) codes: 952-06 Alcohol and Drug Prevention; 952-17 Child Abuse: Identification, Treatment, and Prevention; 952-21 Counseling Services; 952-37 Emergency Shelter Services; 952-47 Foster Care Services; 952-49 Housing Services; 952- 59 Human Services (Not Otherwise Classified); 952-62 Mental Health Services; 952-67 Parenting Intervention Services; 952-71 Rape and Sexual Assault Prevention Services; 952-78 Safe Housing; 952-83 Youth Program Services; 952-85 Support Services; and 924-78 Teaching and Instruction Services.”
