Hi folks - we're preparing to do "Trauma 101" trainings covering the ACEs research, neuroscience of trauma, resilience.  We'd like to do a pre- and post-test. I'm wondering whether any of you have crafted pre- and post-tests for basic trauma/resilience trainings you've done locally and if so, whether you'd be willing to share them. Would prefer not to "reinvent the wheel"....thanks so much!

See attached. We've trained about 11,000 people in the last 3 years. We are one of ACE Interface's Master Trainer sites. Our evaluation form has evolved over that time, and this is the latest version. I'm giving you the Word format so you can modify as needed. Of course, feel free to throw it in the trash, too! It is more focused on the neuroscience of toxics stress and ACEs - not resilience. We touch on resilience and offer a few tools, but to me - training on resilience is a whole topic in itself.

Hi Kristin - yes, we have been using the evaluation at the link below for our trauma 101 trainings that includes a pre- and post-assessment of knowledge in some of the basic areas we cover. However we haven't yet attempted to "codify" the pre- and post-training data to compare or evaluate it.

I'd love to hear how you proceed with implementing and tracking pre- and post-training evals for your trainings. Thanks!

Hi @Leslie Lieberman! I am interested in learning more about ARTIC and the focus on our beliefs/mindsets as we learn about ACES and trauma-informed work. Would love to hear about the experience in Philadelphia. Do you know of anyone using ProQOL?

Our work is focusing on workplace wellness and recognizing the impact of toxic stress/trauma people might experience in their work with families and children. It seems to me not only a possible useful tool for evaluating change over time but also for people to use in context of reflective supervision individually to improve their wellness at work, as a team with group data, or as an organization?

I am creating a prototype, in the initial stages, of how this might work. I am thinking people could take the assessment and get an email with their results, what the numbers mean, and tips to address different areas. And then a dashboard would help to show group results (haven't developed this out completely or tested this yet). And it could show change over time. A person could also take it multiple times and self-assess their individual change over time.

Here is a glimpse of the very draft prototype

Would love to hear from anyone feedback and ideas. Or if you have used ProQOL how it has been helpful or not - and any other learning that would be useful! Thanks in advance!
