Hi, Aleksandra,

While I'm not involved in or aware of any research on art-therapy and ACEs, a couple of days after you posted this, I happened upon an article that made me think of your question:

Art Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) for the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and trauma processing

Although the article does not pertain directly to art therapy and ACEs, it does reference this page for a workshop about a technique called CATT (Children's Accelerated Trauma Treatment) that incorporates art therapy:

3-Day CATT Training

It's not much to go on, but both of the above articles are on the website of the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT)-- maybe the authors of the articles or the person presenting about CATT or even resources on the BAAT site itself could lead to information about some research.

Sorry this is not more substantive but when it popped up in my Facebook newsfeed I couldn't not share it here! It's a topic of interest to me too (more specifically, to my husband), so I'm hoping to see more discussion. Thanks for posting the question.
