I am hosting a conference in N. WI this fall, with the morning focusing on teaching about ACEs and TIC and the afternoon focusing on application.  I had planned for a closing Keynote on becoming a trauma informed organization, (the steps, the challenges, the benefits) and all of my resources are unavailable.  I'm wondering if anyone knows someone who can speak to this process in N. WI (Duluth, MN/Superior, WI area)?  Thanks!

Hi Tracy,

I train, provide coaching, and present on this very topic.  In fact, my business, "HERE this NOW" focuses on building capacity for creating trauma informed systems.  I believe that "becoming trauma informed" is a process and I specialize in facilitating process driven change models.  I am passionate about this topic and would gladly engage in more discussion, if you are interested.  I can be reached at 603-525-4443.  Here is my website in case you'd like more information about the work I accomplish:

Many Thanks,

Emily Daniels, M.Ed., MBA, NCC, SEP in training

I can't remember her name, but there is a psychologist who works with Gunderson Health group; she facilitated the process of the entire hospital staff becoming 'trauma informed'.

Hi!  I am the Trauma Informed Care Liaison for Northwest Journey Day Treatment sites in the Western region of WI.  I am wondering when your conference will be as I would love to attend!  We have sites in Superior, and I would love for staff to be able to attend as this is not a far trip for some of our other sites as well.

There is an amazing team at Waupaca County that would be an amazing group to present.  I saw them at the state level a couple years ago:

Thank you!

Hi, Jen - I am a former Northwest Passage employee and a little bit of my heart is still there, so I am excited to see your interest.  Waupaca County is who I was hoping to have come talk, as they have done outstanding work in their community, but unfortunately they were not able to come.  So, I'm still looking for someone to help us wrap up the conference.

In the meantime, I'm attaching three flyers for the three different offerings we have for our Back to School Trauma Informed Campaign.  We would love to have some of your staff join the conversations!  And feel free to share this information with others in your community, as I know how hard it can be to have to travel a long way for trainings.

Thanks!
