Fostering Futures is hiring locally-based, part-time, contracted coaches for the next learning community in Wisconsin. Fostering Futures is a state-wide initiative aimed at interrupting the cycle of harm to young children and families by infusing a trauma-informed approach into all the systems and organizations that touch the lives of Wisconsin citizens. Our goal is to expand ACEs knowledge and trauma-informed care across the state to make Wisconsin the first trauma-informed state in the nation. The Fostering Futures Coach will work with teams across the state of Wisconsin to provide training and technical assistance as they develop and implement plans for becoming trauma informed. These teams include but are not limited to – state agencies and divisions, health care, public health and human service agencies, community action programs and schools.
