Seeking ACEs Connections in Pacific NW (Oregon, Washington, California)

Hello ACEs community,

I am new to this forum and am seeking connections in my area. I am located in the Portland, Oregon and am interested in connecting with others along the Pacific Coast from Washington, Oregon and California.

I am looking forward to connecting with others interested in resiliency and if any regular meetings, conferences or events are available.

We do regular trainings for the public on resilience. (ACEs, Attachment and practical tools for how to build resilience).  The next one is the evening of October 23rd.

We also have a video of the 3 hour workshop for sale.

Hi Amber, There are quite a few agencies and organizations focusing on ACEs prevention, trauma and resiliency in the PNW region. q Trauma Informed Oregon (https://traumainformedoregon.org/) is a good one to begin finding connections. q In the Columbia River Gorge, on the Washington side the Skamania Klickitat Community Network offers trainings, resources and materials for families, providers and community groups (skcnparents.net.) q In Hood River and Wasco County the Create Resiliency Network (http://createresiliency.org/) is working with the Sanctuary Model. Claire Ranit, Project Director, MARC Grant, Columbia Gorge Health Council is the contact. q Oregon Start also has a number of partners and other links listed: http://oregonstart.org/modules...rauma-informed-care/ q Clark County, WA, just across the river from Portland has the ACEs Action Alliance group. (http://acesactionalliance.org/) q Resilience Trumps Aces is in Walla-Walla, WA. https://resiliencetrumpsaces.org/ Hope this helps-welcome to PDX! Hi Amber,

I am in San Diego, California and have resources and contacts throughout all of California and a couple in Oregon. I am always happy to connect with others so I have resources and referrals. Let's connect on LinkedIn as well.

Other places to connect in San Diego are Center for Community Solutions, Chadwick Center for Children and Families.

Thank you,

Christy
