Upcoming Screenings of Paper Tigers or Resilience

Dear Pamela,  

I am not aware of any screenings in those areas but both Kansas City and Illinois have networks that are part of the Mobilizing Action for Resilient Communities (MARC) Project.  The Illinois Network has screened Paper Tigers in the past.  You may want to contact folks there to learn more about their screenings and perhaps they may be interested in partnering in some future screenings.  You can find contact information at the bottom of the community pages in the MARC booklet which you can download here http://marc.healthfederation.o...ownload-marc-booklet

Confluence Charter Schools in St. Louis, MO, as a member of the Alive & Well STL Trauma Collaborative is showing the movie Paper Tigers to our entire staff for our "Back to School" meetings. Our district's trauma informed social workers will lead a Q&A session immediately following the viewing. You are more than welcome to join us.

I believe I met you at the Alive and Well training session. I am interested in finding a screening in our area too, but won't be back into town until August 21st. Let me know if you end up finding more! Perhaps if you don't we could get a few groups together to host one?

On November 2-3 both Paper Tigers and Resilience will be shown AND James Redford will be there to moderate a panel of experts.  It will be at the International Resilience Summit in Chicago hosted by the National Resilience Institute.  Here is a link to the conference http://www.nationalresiliencei...tute.org/conference/.

That Chicago conference sounds like a great event! For St. Louis folks, keep in mind the wonderful people at Alive and Well STL own a copy of Piper Tigers. I'm sure they will have many other events besides ours on Friday.
