Please welcome these 11 new initiatives from AZ, CA, CO, FL, KS, KY, MI, MN, NM, NY, UT, and VA to ACEs Connection. We also have a private community for ACEs Connection community champions, facilitators, and managers.*

ACEs Connection Community Champions, Facilitators & Managers* Individuals who support or lead initiatives online & on-the-ground can gather here to discuss the process of starting, & growing resilient communities & exchange evidence-based practices & practice-based evidence. Questions, ideas, & resources are all welcome to this private community! Every weekday an ACEs Connection Community Facilitator is available to answer your ask-the-community questions. Note: This learning community is open to all ACEs Connection Community Managers, Facilitators, and Champions. Chisago County (MN) ACEs Initiative The Chisago County ACEs Initiative is a collaborative group of cross-sector partners coming together. We are passionate about making a difference in our community. This initiative aims to move from ideas to action. Community Manager: @Colton Anderson

Colorado ACEs Connection The Colorado ACEs Connection group is dedicated to preventing and reducing the number of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) in Colorado. We are a diverse collective of community members striving to promote healing and create trauma-aware and resilient communities across the state of Colorado. Community Manager: @Doty Shepard

Durango (Colorado) ACEs Connection The Durango, Colorado ACEs Connection group is dedicated to preventing and reducing the number of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) in the greater Durango area. Dutchess County (NY) ACEs Task Force The purpose of the Dutchess County ACES Task Force is to improve the wellness of the community by providing education about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) and their impact on individuals of all ages. Community Manager: @Kim Dangerfield,

Fairfax County (VA) Trauma Informed Community Network The Fairfax County Trauma-Informed Community Network (TICN) is a multi-disciplinary, multi-agency effort to implement and support Trauma-Informed Care initiatives across the Health, Housing, Education and Human Services System. Fighting ACEs in Palm Beach County (FL) A network for professionals, leaders, and community members to collaborate across sectors to prevent and mitigate the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), enhance caregiver and community capacity to effectively address ACEs, and build resilience in Palm Beach County, Florida. Four Corner ACEs Connection (CO-NM-UT-AZ) The Four Corners ACEs Connection group is dedicated to preventing and reducing the number of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) in the greater Four Corners area. We are a diverse collective of community members striving to promote healing and create a more trauma-aware and resilient communities across the Four Corners.Community Manager: @Doty Shepard

Rise Up Central Kansas Creating Connections for a Compassionate Culture. #RiseUp Community Manager: @Diana Watson

The Early Prevention and Intervention for Children (EPIC) Project (KY) The EPIC Project uses the ACE survey to identify parents of newborns through age 3 who have a high ACE score. Once identified, through community collaboration in-home services will be implemented to mitigate risk for the child/ren & build resiliency for the whole family. Community Manager: @Rachel Blanford

Trauma Champions ACEs Connection (MI) We develop awareness of trauma and empower pathways to resiliency. We will build a trauma-informed Montcalm County, MI by the year 2021. We will view trauma in the same manner across all sectors — including schools, law enforcement, manufacturing, big and small businesses and the faith-based community.
