Adverse Childhood Experiences A Public Health Issue Building Strong Brains Tennessee WCTE, Cookeville’s Public Broadcasting affiliate, has developed this excellent 6-part series about Adverse Childhood Experiences, presenting Tennessee’s Building Strong Brains messages. The programs are great tools to introduce colleagues, friends and neighbors to ACEs, what is being in Tennessee to address the problem, and how Building Strong Brains is supporting those efforts. A “next step” that all of us can take is to encourage everyone around us to view this important series. Each program can be viewed separately, and offers the viewer a look a particular facet about ACEs and the Tennessee initiative. Here’s a link to the series:

This is great. Does anyone know if it is available in other regions as well?

Gail, I was curious about that too and checked the PBS website. It looks like it will be airing January 13. As far as I can tell, that's on PBS in general. PBS often streams its programs after they air (as Phillip has noted above), so if it doesn't air on your local station, you might be able to watch online after that.

Here's a link to the preview on the national PBS site:

The first episode is already available!  It's VERY good!  I've already shared it on FB.  It gives a lot of great information, not too much detail, about individuals, communities, historical trauma, epigenetics...the whole shebang!
