This is Us - Meet Peace4Tarpon - Mary Sharrow!

Mary has worked in several fields, but has been a volunteer all of her life. She is an enthusiastic autodidact, and has been one since childhood.

Her main interests are family, friends, working with people who care, early childhood education, the arts, thrifting (bringing things once discarded back to their original glory), ikebana, mental health advancement, natural health, and constant learning.  Mary also has deep appreciation for delicious food.

Mary is vice chair of Peace4Tarpon. She also archives our documents, correspondences, and keeps the ever-growing contact list updated. Mary manages our mail chimp site, drafting and sending the monthly Forum agendas. She has a way with words, whether verbal or written, and expresses her gentle thoughtfulness through both.

Mary opens each monthly Forum with her “Energy Minute”, where she teaches helpful, simple healing and resilience building techniques. Her knowledge of EFT Tapping is especially impressive. Mary shares these skills with her educator daughter, who in turn shares them with the young students in her classroom. Students often share these skills with their siblings and families. Paying it forward all the way to New York City!

By popular demand, we will soon be filming Mary’s Energy Minutes for our YouTube channel so even more people can benefit!

Thanks so much for posting this series, Robin! It's a great way for people to learn more about each other in this amazing ACEs movement!

Thank you Jane - it's long overdue.  We need to know each other and see who sitting at our big table. I have been meaning to do this for awhile, but we are all peddling as fast as we can - as Mary Sharrow herself says. As an unfunded all-volunteer organization, Peace4Tarpon folks all pull together to move our work forward and what we accomplish is incredible. Yes, the ACEs movement is amazing!

Thank you, Robin!

When I visited Tarpon Springs last year, and attended one of your meetings, I loved Mary’s Energy Minute.  I loved her leading us to make infinity signs with our hands, and her instruction about how making that sign helps us create energy.

It is a delight to learn more about P4T leadership team. Thank you for sharing!

Best,

Carey

Hi Carey, We are starting with introducing our Board and then moving on to all the other leaders of Peace4Tarpon - community partners, provider partners and more! Thanks for your words and we loved having you here with us!
