I am excited to be a part of this online forum, and I hope to be able to both absorb new information and research as well as provide some to this community. I am a clinical social worker, and the program director of San Francsico's parental stress counseling and crisis warmline. I've been in the field for more than 10 years. The work I am involved in at the San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center (www.sfcapc.org) relates directly to the prevention of ACES and the promotion of family strengths in San Francisco (& the Greater Bay Area).
