ACE Study in Wisconsin

As a result of the efforts of Dr. Robert Anda, my CDC partner in the ACE Study, a number of States are including the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Study measurements in their routine, annual, public health  measures via the BRFSS or Behavioral Risk Factors Surveillance System.  The Internet address for Wisconsin's BRFSS report is http://wichildrenstrustfund.org/files/WisconsinACEs.pdf

I would urge you to look at this and share your thoughts.  This is a big step forward in disseminating information that most people are too inhibited to acknowledge.  For them, success may be achieved by putting the information into a story.  The documentary videographer Angela Shelton has done this in a personal manner in the strikingly imaginative and penetrating video that may be seen at http://angelashelton.com/searching-for-angela-shelton

Let her know what you think; she is a new member of ACEsTooHigh.  By the way, a number of people have complimented me on creating this site.  Would that I had this talent!  This site was created by Jane Stevens, a high-end journalist who is planning a book on the ACE Study.
