Former mayor joins national organization in advisory role [bizjournals.com]

Former Memphis Mayor A C Wharton has been asked to serve in an advisory role for a national organization.

Wharton will serve on the advisory committee for the D.C.-based Campaign for Trauma-Informed Policy and Practice (CTIPP).

Memphian Ellen Rolfes, the executive director of Memphis' Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Awareness Foundation, was also tapped to serve on CTIPP's board.

CTIPP is a coalition of policymakers, doctors, psychologists and non-profit leaders advocating for trauma-informed, prevention-focused policies and programs.

I also work in Memphis and serve on this committee.
We are developing a critical mass in Memphis and into rural West Tennessee of trauma informed professionals from many disciplines.
Thanks for your tireless efforts.
