"Abuse that is not physical seems to get ignored, but it sure does lasting damage. This young mother can barely cope with her life right now. She is being drained of all positive life force due to unrelenting mistreatment. Her abuser is the man who is supposed to honor and love and cherish her. On top of the constant barrage of harmful words and the stress of financial abuse, this wife has been told by some of her church support system that as a woman she must "submit" to her husband. What is her daughter learning about marriage and family and parenting ? This month let's vow to look behind the polite curtain we commonly draw over the topic of domestic abuse."
