Kosair wants to raise awareness about child abuse - Kentucky

"Kosair Children's Hospital says they're seeing more cases of child abuse and want to raise awareness about the serious issue.

"Last Wednesday, doctors at Kosair saw four children who had non-accidental trauma.

"One of them, a 6-month-old girl named Aleyah, died after suffering a severe brain bleed. Her father was arrested and charged with abuse police say he admitted to shaking the girl.

"Kosair has a tool kit on their website which includes tips on child abuse prevention and what parents can do if they're frustrated by a crying child...."
