OJJDP FY 2018 Opioid Affected Youth Initiative: Applications Due: July 02, 2018

 

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) is seeking applications for funding under the Fiscal Year (FY) 2018 Opioid Affected Youth Initiative. This Initiative furthers the Administration’s priority to support states, local communities, and tribal jurisdictions in their efforts to develop and implement effective programs for children, youth, and at-risk juveniles and their families who have been impacted by the opioid crisis and drug addiction.

Applications Due: July 02, 2018

Eligibility:
This solicitation will provide funding for the following categories:
Category 1: Implementing Data-Driven Strategies and Programs Through Strategic Partnerships. Eligible applicants are limited to states (including territories), units of local government, 1 and federally recognized tribal governments as determined by the Secretary of the Interior.

Category 2: Opioid Affected Youth Initiative Technical Assistance. Applicants are limited to nonprofit and for-profit organizations (including tribal nonprofit and for-profit organizations) and institutions of higher education (including tribal institutions of higher education).

For-profit organizations must forgo any profit or management fee. All recipients and subrecipients (including any for-profit organization) must forgo any profit or management fee. OJJDP welcomes applications under which two or more entities would carry out the federal award; however, only one entity may be the applicant.
