Our effort to explain the many voices of Walla Walla, for the Beyond Paper Tigers conference

Hello! We wanted to help conference attendees at our June 28-29 Beyond Paper Tigers Conference here in Walla Walla get a sense of the many "Paper Tigers" at work in Walla Walla. This 12-min. video features why a community-wide approach is so critical is helping to create a resilient community. We want to share it with other communities working toward the same goal of creating healthier, more connected communities, around the framework of the NEAR (neurobiology, epigenetics, aces, resilience) approach.  Thanks to all the participants to the conference, we so deeply appreciate your time and effort in attending!

How many times can I "like" this!!!  Thank you Walla, Walla for your continued leadership.  It's wonderful to have a video now that explains a "system of care" or "community of care"!  After one year and training over 1,500 professionals we now have St. Jude's Research Clinic, Niswonger Children's Hospital, Johnson City Public Schools (especially the former Alternative High School but now called Topper Academy), Johnson City Juvenile Court, Family Justice Center, School Resource Officers of the Johnson City Police Department and Crime Prevention Programs, East Tennessee State University Colleges of Nursing, Psychology and Human Behavior, Johnson City Public Library, Safe Passage (women's shelter), the Boys & Girls Club, Safe Families (crisis care for children), and Frontier Health all as partners!  We feel our bi-monthly partner meetings are "inspirational" and I think soon I'll share some in an ACEs Too High blog.  We are cheering you on from East TN
