Relationship Advice from a Rabbi: Listen to How ACEs are Embedded in This Lecture!

As an editor, I sometimes coach writers as they're in the process of creating a manuscript. At present, I'm working with a novelist who "needs a better ending." I asked her to ask her characters to reveal what they needed from her, but I suggested that some research be done in the "outer world." Not content to leave the issue to the writer alone, I had some time to a bit of research on my own, and look...I found this:

Rabbi Manis Friedman, author of The Joy of Intimacy, speaks with wisdom, humor, and insight into what gets revealed in close, intimate relationships. If you are unfamiliar with some of the Hebrew terms he uses, hear him with your heart and I guarantee you'll understand what he is saying.

I'm grateful for this space on the ACEs Connection so that I can pass along the discoveries that come my way. Thank you for reading this.

Thank you for sharing, Mary. I would love to share this with ACEs in Faith Based Communities.  Please let me know if you are agreeable!  Karen

Hi Karen,

It would be great if you could share this, but first, please read information about Rabbi Friedman on Wikipedia (which I read after I posted this); he said some things for which he gave an apology. Perhaps this post is even a way to talk about that situation, and what people believed prior to their knowledge of the ACE Study?
