The Good Mum - A mother promises to stop hitting her 4 year old daughter

I posted the story about the "good mum" as a comment to RPB then decided to put a link here. It is the story of a mother who used to hit her 4 year old.  When I learned that the mother, who was studying to be a social worker, was hitting her daughter I suggested she ask how the daughter feels when being hit. So she did ask. Then the mother told me the story of the daughter's reaction, then her own.  The story was so moving I asked her to write it up so I could submit it to Jordan Riak at Nospank.net. She did and he published it as www.nospank.net/hein.htm
