Please don’t miss this vitally important film on how violence (one form of toxic stress/trauma) is “interrupted” in inner cities. It features the work of WHO epidemiologist, Dr. Gary Slutkin who theorizes violence transmits like a disease. Dr. Slutkins says we need to fundamentally change our thinking of this problem. It starts with changing language and social connections using those with "experience" in the community.
