This network's first group is the State ACE Response Project

Caitlin Molsberry, an ACEs Too High Network member who works in the Iowa Department of Public Health has created the State ACE Response Project group for people from state agencies to share information about how they're developing strategies to address ACEs in their population.

The questions the group will be looking at include: What is the best way for a state to begin to address ACEs in their population? What has worked in the past and what are some of the best practices?

She's posted a questionnaire, put together by the Iowa ACEs steering committee, on the group page, in hopes that people from the 18 states that have conducted ACE Studies so far will provide answers that will help integrate ACEs concepts across the nation.

Caitlin will be inviting people from the states that she knows have set up steering committees or groups to begin figuring out what they want to do with their ACE data to join the network and the group. If you're interested, or know people who might be interested in this, please contact or have them contact Caitlin through this network or by email: Caitlin.Molsberry@idph.iowa.gov

Thanks!

The State ACE Response Project will serve as an invaluable tool to allow people to share their experiences learning about ACEs and their effects, communicating and teaching about ACEs, and ways that they are beginning to work with their state and local systems to make life better!

As this project grows, the synergy that has been blocked by state boundaries will be realized.  Caitlin Molsberry and her colleagues are well organized.  I hope you join their group on this site.
