Who are we? What's our interest in ACEs? Part 13

Here are another four responses from new members to a question about their interest in ACEs: Jennifer Walch, Shonda Goward, Dena Strum Klein and Linda Lee. Some of the responses are shortened, so there's a link to their page to read more about them, friend them and/or send a message.

Jennifer Walch, Medford, MA -- As coordinator for the Center for Research on Sex Differences in the Brain in Depression at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA, Jennifer is interested in applying ACE-based (and other findings) program development to prenatal care and early childhood education and care. The center is investigating the effects of stress on the fetal brain and its relationship with developing depression in adulthood, and the shared common pathway to depression and co-morbid cardiovascular disease risk.

Shonda Goward, Washington, D.C. -- Shonda works in higher education. Her aim is to do research into the link b/w ACE and poor higher ed performance. "Often by the time these students come to us we have limited capability to assist them."

Dena Strum Klein, Mission, KS - Dena is a "rewired" CEO who recently left a PR services company to explore the rest of her life. Her interest is in helping to increase awareness and solutions for childhood trauma.

Linda Lee, Sacramento, CA - Linda is starting another career as an inspirational speaker and author. You can read an introduction to her story on ACEsTooHigh.com news site.

Welcome to you all!
