Rebecca May, Bemidji, MN -- Rebecca is a social worker and mental health practitioner who works for the Leech Lake Reservation. She works with children up to 4 years old. She notes that she's been "deeply struck by the implications of how early childhood experiences that impact a child's attachment relationships with care providers can often accurately predict the later development of specific mental illnesses and physical diseases. This body of research seems to validate observations I have made in clients over the past decade".
