Inside Job a doco on the GFC was an eye opener for me in terms of the power bases that control the USA economy and the wonderment of why the protests weren't bigger than they were. Whether forced or coerced it appeared Obama continued the business as usual in the great halls of finance. That was disappointing as he has tried to also achieve humanitarian goals as well... Hmm.
The USA tends to set a precedent for some/many other western countries to follow or are 'forced' to...
