A taste of the Summer Peacebuilding Institute on February 15, 2019!
If you live in or near Harrisonburg, Virginia (or want to visit), join us on February 15, 2019 for the annual Summer Peacebuilding Institute Community Day.
The day will be an engaging training and workshop series to enhance facilitation, peacebuilding, and organizational tools for your work in the community. Trainings on community organizing, collaborative leadership tools, trauma resilience, and more will be offered.
The day will include:
- Local community speakers
- Practical Training workshops on a variety of topics
- Time to network with local business and community leaders
Registration fee is $50 and includes:
- Two 90-minute workshop sessions
- Morning coffee and pastries
- Lunch from Gray Jay Provisions, a locally owned business
- Waiver for the $50 Summer Peacebuilding Institute or STAR application fee
- one of the books from our series entitled The Little Book of Justice and Peacebuilding (several to choose from)
