ACES for Students in Special Education

What percentage of the students on your caseload have ACES?  Many children are coming to school having had significant Adverse Childhood Experiences.(ACES).  ACES significantly impact their ability to engage with others and learn.  This small group experience will provide you with the opportunity to reflect on the students in your classroom, their individual stories and learning challenges and develop a plan for how to address their needs for the upcoming year.

In three 2 hour coaching sessions(July 16, 18 and 20; 9-11AM) you will :

1. Review the various types of Adverse Childhood Experiences and reflect on students who may have them.

2. Identify resources you need to support students in your classroom.

3. Develop a plan  to build educate your team about each students needs.
