Convening of TIC Experts in Milwaukee for Three Days of Healing Trauma

The conference begins with a Community Gathering on Race and Trauma on Wed. evening at the Fiserv Forum (new home of the Milwaukee Bucks) and continues with five Keynotes and 50 workshops on Thurs. and Fri. at the Wisconsin Center. Thursday includes:
L. Song Richardson presents “The Impact of Implicit Racial Bias on Communities.”
Dr. Bruce D. Perry presents “A Relational Approach to Working with Traumatized and Maltreated Children.”
Dr. Kenneth Ginsburg presents “The Importance of Resilience-based, Strength-Focused Communication and Expectations for Young People.”
Friday includes:
Dr. Rob Anda and Laura Porter present “Understanding ACEs: Building Self-Healing Communities.”
Dr. Harold S. Koplewicz presents “Countering Fear and Hatred: Helping Children Cope in an Uncertain Era.”
