A number of Canadians are connecting remotely to collaborate to create #TraumaInformedCanada

If anyone in this community is interested in participating and or has any input they would like to contribute regarding what they are doing in their region and what they know about existing national initiatives, please contact me.

I've put a call out to the wider ACEs Connection community, but wanted to specifically reach out to the members here, since you've already identified yourselves as interested in connecting with other Canadians by participating here.

I know there are silos of activity in various regions across the country. We're working towards a central network accessible to everyone for everyone.

We'd love to have you along.

Hi Elizabeth,

I am an Art Therapist, OATR, RCATA, AATR-BC Supervisor. Am on the executive of the Ontarion Art Therapy Association. Am A Trauma, Berievement and Depression Therapist for the past almost 40 years, and am a firm believer in working through resilience. I would like you to share with me some of the ways you invision spreading the awareness of ACEs in the therapeutic community. I can send you my resume privately if you wish. I am currently working on establishing my website, so am still in the dark ages on that front, but am using Skype and Zoom for therapy and supervision, as well as woerkshops. I have lately given a very succsessful workshop to Supervisor Art Therapists on Zoom " Self Compassion in Supervision" . I have spread the awareness of Vicarious Trauma last summer by invitation to Colombia, and am very active with the Israeli Arts Therapies Association. I spend usually 7 month a year in Israel, and have extended my stay due to the Corona pandemic outbreak.
