About the Opportunity

Twice a year, in the spring and fall, we request research proposals via the UCSF Resource Allocation Program (RAP). The spring RAP applications are due by March 1st.

  • Improving birth outcomes for preterm babies among Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC)

We are particularly interested in topics prioritized by our communities in San Francisco, Oakland and Fresno.

How to Apply

See our FAQs. If you are interested in submitting a proposal and need to connect with a UCSF co-investigator or have additional questions about the application process, please contact us for assistance at PTBiCalifornia@ucsf.edu.

We offer applicants the opportunity to share their proposal ideas and receive feedback with an emphasis on recruitment and retention strategies, dissemination plans, community engagement and the plain language summary prior to the submission deadline.
