WEBINAR - Triple P: Helping Parents Become the Parents That They Are Meant To Be

The webinar will feature a presentation by Marjorie Fujara, MD, who will share lessons learned from the recent implementation of an evidence based parenting intervention, Triple P, as well as the importance of a broad based public awareness campaign on parenting.

Born and raised in Chicago, Dr. Fujara received her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her pediatrics residency in Minneapolis at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Fujara is board certified in the new subspecialty of Child Abuse Pediatrics. For the past 17 years she has been part of the Child Protective Services Team at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County (formerly known as Cook County Hospital). In addition to evaluating children for abuse and neglect at the hospital, she sees sexually abused children and adolescents in the medical clinic at the Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center. Dr. Fujara also is a member of the Cook County Child Death Review Team. She is passionate about child abuse prevention, parent engagement, and bringing innovative therapies to families for the treatment of toxic stress. In addition to her work as a physician, Dr. Fujara is also a parent to four children ranging in age from 7 to 18.
