Arkansas ACEs/Resilience Coalition (AR)

ACEs & Resilience Coalition Subgroup Meeting

November 13, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. ACEs & Resilience Coalition Subgroup Meetings

Please join us Wednesday, November 13, as our subgroups meet to begin working on projects for the new year. We can work together to raise awareness about the effects of ACEs, further the trauma-informed agenda, and help our state become a more resilient place for all Arkansans.

We currently have two subgroups: Data Analysis & Policy and ACEs Awareness Training. The former will focus on how the coalition can utilize current data, such as BRFSS and predictive analytics, to help prevent and treat Arkansans experiencing ACEs and trauma. The ACEs Awareness Training subgroup will focus on how to best train and teach others about ACEs and being trauma informed.

At Wednesday’s meeting we hope to discuss what the subgroup members want to see happen, what projects they are working on, and develop ideas for how the coalition can help member organizations. We would love to see everyone there and we encourage you to attend if you have any interest in these subgroups. What is decided at the subgroups will help inform the coalition’s 2020 strategic plan.

Subgroups will meet at AFMC, 1020 W. 4th St., Little Rock, AR. If you are interested in participating in one of our two subgroups – Data Analysis & Policy or ACEs Awareness Training – please RSVP to Hanna Windley, hanna.windley@afmc.org.

Hope to see you tomorrow!
