Free Trauma Tapping Technique App One of the most important aspects of trauma recovery is learning self-calming techniques to help relax during an emotional stress response. The Peaceful Heart Network, a nonprofit organization that works with survivors of the genocide in Rwanda and Congo, worked with a trauma expert to develop the Trauma Tapping Technique (TTT). In 2012, Greater Richmond SCAN and five other community partners hatched a one-year plan to educate the Richmond, Virginia, community about ACEs science and to embed trauma-informed practices. Eight years later, the original group has evolved into the Greater Richmond Trauma-Informed Community Network (GRTICN) with 495 people and 170 organizations. And they're just scratching the surface.
