Unfortunately the event has been postponed by event organizers.....

We want to thank you for your commitment to the foster care and transitional youth in this community. You have worked hard and diligently on this conference, and your dedication is apparent. The Foster Care Planning Committee has decided to postpone the conference until fall of 2020. We will evaluate it as events unfold.

Yesterday both Contra Costa County and the City of Richmond declared a state of emergency to offer some guidance to how to navigate and provide insight of how to prevent the spread of the Covid19 virus , and ensure the health and safety of the community. While they have not prohibited large events, they have strongly advised against holding them at this time.

We know many of the groups that help us make the conference a success are limiting their involvement in public events as well, and it makes sense to postpone the conference to ensure full participation and services for our youth. Attached is the guidance sheet issued by CC County.

We thank you for your efforts. If you have any questions, please contact us. We look forward to working with you in the Fall.
