A Message from DSS: CCB 18 - July 2019 Reports are Due Oct 7th 2019!

Good afternoon CCB 18 County Contacts,

This email is to inform FY 2019-20 Bridge Program opt-in counties of revised CCB 18 report and instructions via All County Welfare Director Letter dated August 23, 2019.  The CCB 18 (7/19) report takes effect for the July 2019 report month.  The July 2019 report’s due date has been extended to October 7th.  July and August report months will be due on the same day.  Feel free to submit the July 2019 report at any time before the due date.

Due to limitations that CDSS is currently experiencing, we are unable to post anything to our website.  Attached are the report instructions (ACWDL) and the new Excel report form.  Please note that there were errors on the first ACWDL dated August 23, 2019, thus an errata was created and should be disseminated through the CDSS distribution system at any moment.  Please reference the errata (also dated August 23, 2019) when using the report instructions and validations.

Below is an overview of the major changes that have been made to the CCB 18 (7/19) report and instructions.

  • Item 7 (Children in the following type of placement) has been expanded to include additional types of placements. An explanation box for Item 7 has been added.
  • The language connecting Item 17 (Bridge Program eligible families served by child care navigators) to Item 16 (Bridge Program eligible families referred to child care navigators) has been removed.
  • Validations have been updated.

All Bridge Program opt-in counties are required to submit the CCB 18 report regardless of the Bridge Program implementation status in the county.  If a county has not implemented the Bridge Program, all cells must be completed as “0”.  In the Comments section, indicate that the Bridge Program has yet to be implemented and state the planned implementation date.

Please forward a copy of this e-mail to all persons completing, signing off, or responding to questions about the report.

Feel free to contact me with any questions.
