 Yolo County near Davis has a faith Based Response to ACE's
Childhood Adversity and The Compassionate Christian Response
 This 8 week Bible based small group study  is designed to promote the well being of children and to decrease the adverse  life long public health impact of trauma on the developing child. This is achieved by demonstrating the connections between the science of the brain,  human development, education and the teachings of t Jesus and the Christian Church.
Join us on Sundays at Davis Community Church from noon to 1;15. Materials will be provided.
Class facilitator: Debra Palmer, PhD, DNP, Family Nurse Practitioner- former Kaiser Nurse Practitioner and current faculty UCD.
Course originally entitled Bruised Reeds &Smoldering Wicks by Chaplain Chris Haughee of Inter-mountain Ministry of Montana
Week 1 October 6 lunch will be provided. Class size limited to 20
