Happy New Year, group! I have finally come back online after a few weeks off for break. I hope everyone here had a fantastic and rejuvenating holiday, free from trauma and drama! If not, let me know how I can help you and/or your clients deal with these holiday issues.


As is the tradition with a new year, I have created a few resolutions to affirm my commitment to making the world more trauma informed and resilient:


1. I am going to train my staff at other agencies to understand what ACEs and how they can be trauma informed, beginning with the staff at SFSU Housing, where I am also currently working.

2. I am going to build my self resiliency by prioritizing some mindfulness practices, such as guided meditations, for at least 10 minutes a day, usually when I wake up or before I go to bed.
