Georgia PACEs Connection (GA)

Resilient Georgia ACEs and TIC Literature Scan

Resilient Georgia’s end goal is to create a statewide integrated behavioral health system by making Georgia a trauma informed state. About two years ago our Executive Board and partners identified the need for a backbone organization that would help convene stakeholders, connect resources and organizations and remove barriers in this space.

One of our first priorities was to identify and celebrate all the good work that is and has already been done in our state. Over the last several months our organization has been working hard to convene and connect stakeholders from across the state that work to prevent Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and implement Trauma Informed Care and/or Awareness.

You can view our list of ACEs/TIC Efforts Across Georgia Peer Reviewed Publications here. This serves as the first chapter of a larger state scan that we are conducting. This Literature Review includes ACEs related peer reviewed publications from 1998 to March 2020 with at least one (or more) author working at a Georgia University/Organization at the time of the study. We consider this an ever-changing document and we welcome your feedback, updates and expertise at info@resilientga.org/">info@resilientga.org.
