Kansas PACEs Connection is dedicated to connecting and supporting organizations, systems, and communities who are interested in better understanding the prevalence of ACEs and trauma, recognizing the impact that these have on individual and organizational health, and developing policies and practices that promote resiliency and healing.

Suicide Screening and Assessment

Utilization of a validated screening tool is essential for good suicide prevention in mental health treatment and community settings. This training will focus on the use of the Columbia Scale (the gold standard in suicide screenings) and formulating suicide risk based on this screening and other evidence informed factors.

This event is presented by Kansas Suicide Prevention HQ as part of a Suicide Prevention Training Series and is funded by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Kansas Zero Suicide: A Framework for Health and Behavioral Health Care System
