ACEs Connection Meetup: Influencing and Implementing Public Policy

Friends Center

Come to this informal gathering at the Friends Center to meet others in the Philadelphia region who are interested in ACEs, trauma, resiliency, and creating a city that is truly trauma-informed. You will have the opportunity to discuss your work, share ideas, and plan future collaborations in a relaxed setting.

This month's topic is influencing, crafting, and implementing public policy. Mary Horstmann, Chief of Staff, Mayor’s Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity will be speaking at the Meet-Up.

Mary Horstmann will share her knowledge and expertise about the policy-making process specific to Philadelphia City Government and she will address the question, why are trauma-informed policies important to the City of Philadelphia and how can we influence policy-making?
