Building a Resilient Amador

We are excited to announce that Resilient Amador now has a local presentation available for your organization, agency, place of work, or community group to learn about adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), trauma and trauma-informed care, and resilience.

This two-hour presentation is a perfect introduction to - or refresher on - these important topics and how they impact each us, the families we work with, and our community.

To schedule a presentation or would like more information, please contact myself, Tracy Carlton at the Child Abuse Prevention Council (209-223-5921), or Vanessa Compton at Amador County Behavioral Health (209-223-6315).

We look forward to deepening the conversation about the adversity our children may face here in Amador County and how we can both address this topic while also preventing further traumatic experiences from happening in the first place.
